Dr. Gero (ドクター下呂 Dokutaa Gero) is a side character from Cave Story. He is found in the Labyrinth's hospital, along with a nurse from the Clinic. He heals Quote if talked to, and he gives Quote the Clinic Key, requesting from him to obtain the Cure-All from the Clinic to heal Curly Brace.

- Dr. Gero's name comes from the Japanese word for a frog's croaking, gerogero (ゲロゲロ).
- Dr. Gero shares his name with Dr. Gero of Dragon Ball Z.
- The Halloween sprites for Dr. Gero are a reference to the scrapped character from the Cave Story beta, Prince Frog.
