Sun Stones are two large blocks that have a face with a frown.
Behaviour[]
The Sun Stones touch each other, blocking the pathway to Jenka's house as well as the Sand Zone Storehouse. To proceed in Cave Story, the player must defeat Omega, which causes the curse to be lifted. When Quote goes back to the place where the Sun Stones are located, the player's control is temporarily frozen as the Sun Stones' eyes turn red and move into the embedded stone blocks next to them, one at a time. Quote can now freely travel to the lower area of the Sand Zone.
