Different translations compensation[]
I'm thinking we'll need to find a different way to present Jenka's puppies and their stats, because there's only one heading for the inventory description, and it's only listing one translation at the moment. - Random-storykeeper (YELL AT IT) 01:48, November 26, 2013 (UTC)
Life Pot and Plantation[]
- The puppy gives Quote a Life Capsule, increasing his health by 5. If the player does not have the Life Pot, however, they will receive it from the dog.
It's not explicitly stated whether the Life Pot is received instead of or in addition to the Life Capsule, but due to the use of however it sounds closer to the former to me. However, in CS+ the latter is what happens. It'd be neat if someone could verify whether this is the case in the original Cave Story as well, in which case it could be edited to say something like "If the player does not have the Life Pot, they will additionally receive it from the dog" or some such. –82.182.180.137 19:45, March 13, 2014 (UTC)
- I believe I got that information from one of the previous articles and rewrote it without checking it over. I have the freeware version, and am at that point in the game now, so I could take a look and see if the Life Pot replaces the Capsule. - Random-storykeeper (YELL AT IT) 21:53, March 13, 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm so it turns out I did get the Life Pot from Jenka this time. Strange, because I usually wait until I finish building the rocket so that she can tell me I can have another. I'm not sure, then.
